SMS / Text Messaging Opt-In
This page explains how customers of A&O Tree Service LLC opt in to receive text messages, what those messages contain, and how to stop them. It accompanies our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
How customers opt in
Customers give consent to receive text messages in one of two ways:
- Website form. On our estimate request form at aotrees.com/contact.html, a customer may check an optional consent box (shown below). The box is unchecked by default, and checking it is not required to submit the form or to receive service.
- Verbal or in person. When a customer calls us or meets our estimator on site, they provide their phone number and give verbal consent to receive texts about their job. We record that consent with the customer's file.

What we send
Messages relate only to the customer's own tree service request: estimate confirmations and quotes, appointment and scheduling updates, crew arrival and job status, invoices and payment reminders, and one-to-one replies to questions the customer sends us. This is a low-volume account for a local, service-area tree company. We do not send marketing blasts or promotional offers by text.
- A&O Tree Service: Thanks for reaching out! Cole can stop by Thursday between 9 and 11am to look at your oak removal and give you a quote. Does that work? Reply STOP to opt out.
- A&O Tree Service: You're on the schedule for Tue 9/16. Our crew will arrive around 8am for the tree removal at 123 Oak St. Reply with any questions. Reply STOP to opt out.
- A&O Tree Service: Your job is complete and your invoice is on its way by email. Thank you for choosing A&O! Reply STOP to opt out.
Opting out and getting help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP, or call or text 334-332-3873 or email info@aotrees.com, for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of texts will not affect our ability to reach you by phone or email about a request you submitted.
Privacy of your consent
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your mobile phone number, text-messaging opt-in, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent are used solely by A&O Tree Service to communicate with you about your request. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
